watercolor sketch

This is a quick pencil and watercolor sketch that I did last weekend at my mom's. Evie, mom and I were all painting. It was one of those magic moments, 3 generations all painting together. . .

anyway, its a semi caricature of Andy Griffith that I spent about 20 minutes on. I'm surprised with it, in a good way. Maybe I should do more with watercolor. . . and use better paper.

Here is one of my friend Rob. He wasn't aware that I was working on it so it was cool to drop it on him all finished and stuff. I think he likes it. I hope to get to do one of his wife Jess. . . hint hint.
