Heather and Anika

I just got the go ahead to post this portrait that I did for one of my best friends, Pete. He commissioned this for her birthday, which is today. Happy Birthday Heather!!

He just gave it to her minutes ago and texted me that she loved it.

John Adams

This one was tougher I have to say. Not many paintings/portraits of him to draw from. . .

I will say though that now looking at him and reading a bit of his biography I just might read that giant John Adams biography that Dad lent me a LONG while back. . .

George Dubya

Here's today's sketch of George Washington. I thought I'd have a go at the 1st President of the United States. I heard somewhere that the American population wanted him not as President but as king, that he turned it down as it would have taken the country from one monarchy to another. Does anyone know if that is true?

This was fun, I might do more presidents.

Honestly . ..

I need to post more.

Here's one for President's Day, a sketch of Abraham Lincoln.

Happy Late B-Day Mr. Lincoln!
