Nymphadora Tonks

Metamorphmagus, Auror of the Ministry of Magic and Member of the Order of the Pheonix
I sketched this a couple of days ago then inked with some new pens (my first brush pen, I like it). I'm working on color which I'll post soon. Yes, I'm reading the Harry Potter books right now. Can't believe that I've not read them sooner. But, this way I get to read them all straight through from beginning to end without having to wait a year between each one!

Just a little self examination. . .

So, I've noticed since starting this blog that I only have the patience to look at other artists' work in the blog format. . . I know, a little prejudiced of me but that's what I'm seeing.
A while back when I was learning HTML and CSS I ran across the term "mystery meat navigation". At the time it seemed to kind of make sense. The premise is that a web designer should stick (at least to some degree) to navigation and layout that makes sense to the expected user. This really just means that you shouldn't let creativity lead you into a website design that may confuse the user.
You see this quite often in an artist's website. They are often stimulating to look at but hard to get around in. The great thing about a blog is that they all are very similar. I think that this is a good thing. It lets me quickly see the art. And from a poster's standpoint, it doesn't get any easier. I've found that people (especially artists) will update their blog continually - giving me, the viewer, constant updates. On the other hand, they will only update their "website" periodically with a bunch of new stuff at once. But, it might be months between updates whereas the blog has been constantly updated.

Now I'm rambling. . .

I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who looks at this blog. . .

Good Lord! Two Weeks, no post!

Bad. Very Bad.
Here's something from today. Zebra!
and something from a couple days ago. I don't know - a prince of Persia or something.
