Van Der what's it

I'm not making any statement with this sketch. He was just the first face on CNN.com this morning which is where I usually get my first sketch subjects. . . But, he's a creepy and sad and menacing looking guy so I decided to draw him. Having said that and after reading about his confession to killing the girl in Peru I'm convinced that he is definitely guilty in the Natalie Holloway disappearance. . .

First is a sketch of Joe Kwon who plays with the Avett Bros on albums and tours. He's awesome to watch live!

and here's a little creature sketch that I decided wasn't worth finishing. But, I'm posting it to show Pete that I don't just do caricatures and portraits . . .

Sorry for the lack of posts, not much worth posting of late. BUT, my sister came to the rescue by commissioning this caricature of my brother-in-law and my nephew! Thanks Erin for getting me back on the horse! They thought it was hilarious and that is the biggest compliment to me.
